Project ecoBrand Green Business Event
After several months of planning and development, our Project ecoBrand initiative is launching in earnest later this month at Springs Preserve in Las Vegas.
Later this month (pending final date approvals), we’ll be taking over the fantastic Big Springs Theatre at the Origen Experience – Spring Preserve’s shiny new, multi-million dollar facility conveniently located in the heart of Vegas. We’ve previously discussed a few of the center’s amenitites – and have been working with their sales and mission advancement teams for some time.
Our event features two important elements – Las Vegas’ first green business mixer/expo, and a live interative public presentation of “An Inconvenient Truth” – the Academy Award winning film of the presentation developed and given by Al Gore. Since the highly acclaimed release of this live presentation about global warming, The Climate Project has continued to spread the critical information within the show and movie to broad audiences across America.
Eric Torres, one of the efforts premiere presenters, will be giving an updated version of Gore’s presentation – in an incomparable setting. In addition to this, Springs Preserve has two public events that will be happening simultaneously – the well received Farmer’s Market and Cafe Concert Series in the Springs Preserve Café by Wolfgang Puck.
The weekly crowd reaches some 400-500 at the door – but we have something special to offer at a discounted admittance fee generously provided by Springs Preserve. Our tickets are just $5 in advance, and $7.50 at the door – reduced from a normal ticket price for admission can reach as high at $18.95 per person.
Top off these three great green experiences with the area’s first green business mixer – and you’ve got an evening of great opportunity and interaction. Eco-friendly businesses can meet others, while displaying their services and products to this very targeted audience. The public can learn more about global warming through the event’s live presentation – and visit the green businesses displaying at the mixer. Truly, a win/win for anyone interested.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this terrific event – and we welcome your thoughts and comments on the presentation and event concepts!
